Leafield Environmental wins King’s Award for Enterprise

Leafield Environmental is delighted to announce that we have been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for excellence in International Trade on 6 May 2025.

The Award programme, now in its 59th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, recognising and celebrating business excellence across the UK.

A judging panel of industry leaders carefully reviewed Leafield’s application, paying special commendations to the significant growth in overseas sales the company has achieved over the last three years.

Philip Maddox, Leafield’s Managing Director, says:

We are delighted to have won a King’s Award for Enterprise – it’s a huge achievement.

Leafield Environmental’s products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality by dedicated teams at our factory in Corsham, Wiltshire, and sold to the world – all through the hard work of people who live locally and have worked at the company for many years.

It’s especially exciting to be recognised for our excellence in international trade. Despite a challenging manufacturing landscape, Leafield’s overseas sales have grown by 63% over three years and now make up almost half of our total sales.

I look forward to the opportunities the King’s Award will offer in expanding the reach of our quality, sustainable products to markets across the globe.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses.

The award ‘win’ represents subsidiaries of the Leafield Group including: Leafield Recycle, Paxton Agricultural, Paxton Materials Handling, Leafield Cases, and Leafield Highways. There will be award ceremonies taking place in the summer to honour the occasion.
